Our Story
Grandpa Ottorino and Grandma Maria in the thirties acquire the first Millstone Flour mill (two rotary stones), nowadays exposed inside of the Mulinër Restaurant, give birth to Antenore and buy the first fixed threshing machine for the grain.
In 1940 Grandpa Ottorino and his brothers, acquire the current Vischioni House, in Pozzolengo, housing the first Cylindrical Flour Mill Separator in the area.
In 1950, the Vischioni Family buy the second stone mill in Monzambano, where the young Antenore works up till its 20s, transforming it into a cylindrical mill. In the 50s Antenore & Wally decide to get married and follow their paths together.
Claudio, Rosalba & Giovanna are living witnesses of their legacy.
Subsequently after the purchase of the Azienda Agricola Moscatello, by the end of the 50s, Antenore will take care of the Flour mill and the Moscatello property, raising French beef cattle.
Meantime the Company acquires lands until arriving to today’s 30 hectares of cultivated land growing cereals, orchards and vineyards.
At the beginning of the new millennium, Giovanna decides to reinvent the Agricultural Company transforming it into a receptive structure.
The stable, the tools shelter, the main house, all lovingly restructured in order to share with its guests the pleasure to breathe the authentic flavour and values of a simple world, nowadays nearly forgotten.
The recent return of Rosalba gives a new impulse and then the Mulinër Restaurant is born, enriched and exalted from a great friend and professional, Lorenzo, also taken from the love that assemble the project.
The goal has been giving continuity to the roots, the history, the culture and the values of the own earth and family.
The careful job of putting together objects, memories and tools pertaining to the history of the family are tangible testimony of this loving engagement.
